Configuring The Schedule
Setting up the Schedule means you can setup VC ShutDown to switch off your computer at
specific times during the week and will be repeated until you turn off the setting.

To set a schedule, click on Tools - General Settings - Set Schedule.

This is the Schedule main screen.

To start adding to the Schedule, click the Edit button.

Now you can set up a Schedule

First, tick the day of the week that you want to set the Schedule for, in this example
we are making a setting to start on Monday.

Secondly, choose when the timer will end by clicking on the End Day box.

Click on the End Day box and pick from the following option in the list box:
Same Day: The Computer will shutdown on the same day the timer was set.
Next Day: The Computer will shutdown the next day at the time it was set.
Next 2 Days: The Computer will shutdown in the next 2 days at the time it was set.
Next 3 Days: The Computer will shutdown in the next 3 days at the time it was set.
Next 4 Days: The Computer will shutdown in the next 4 days at the time it was set.
Next 5 Days: The Computer will shutdown in the next 5 days at the time it was set.
Next 6 Days: The Computer will shutdown in the next 6 days at the time it was set.

Next up, is the Hour of the of Shutdown.
Click on the Box to select a number.

A list of numbers appear from Zero(0) to Twenty Three(23).
Click on a number to select it.

The next one is the Minute the ShutDown will happen.
Click to select a number from the list.

A list of numbers appear from Zero(0) to Fifty Nine(59).
Click on a number to select it.

Lastly, is the Seconds the ShutDown will take place.
Click on the box to select a number.

A list of numbers appear from Zero(0) to Fifty Nine(59).
Click on a number to select it.

The basic Schedule is now set!
It will happen every Monday and switch off on Monday at One in the afternoon.
But only if you start the program and click the Start button at the main screen.

You can also make a more complicated Schedule, like the picture above.
This Schedule is set to shutdown the computer everyday at a certain time.

If you are happy with the additions you made to the Schedule, click the Save button to record
your new settings.

After they have been saved, click the Main button to return to the main screen.
Don't forget to click the Start button to start the Schedule you made!

For people who live in South Africa and other places that have Dial-up Internet with special phone rates
during the night (usually starting at 7pm till 7am during weekday and 7pm Friday to 7pm Monday),
we recommend using these settings for your schedule.
