Making a Credit Note
Credit Notes are used when you need to make changes to the invoice, due to wrong items being added to the invoice by the operator or other reasons. This is not used to increase the amount
of items in the invoice, but to make a note explaining why they were returned.

Click on the Credit Note button, located in the Creating and Printing Sales section.
Then click the Make Credit Note.

Double Click on a invoice to be brought to the next screen.

Here you can make changes to the invoice to make a Credit Note.
In the comments section, you can type in what changes were made and why a credit note was issued.
In this example, we supplied 6 Mugs to the customer, when they only wanted 4.

Now we changed the amount of Mugs from 6 to 4 Items and made a note of it in the Comments section.
When you are done, click the Save and Print button to save and print the Credit Note or click the Save
button to only save the Credit Note and not make a print out.

The program will tell you the Credit Note has been added.
If you need to reprint that Credit Note, follow this step.

Click the Credit Note button and click on Reprint Credit Note.
The following Credit Note Listing screen will appear.

Double Click on the Credit Note in the list to view it.

The Credit Note you selected is now shown.
To Reprint it, click the Reprint CreditNote button.
Or to go back to the Credit Note Listing, click the CreditNote Listing button.
To exit this Menu, click the Menu button and select where you would like to go.
