VC Backup works on Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 98SE, Windows ME, Windows NT4 SP6a, Windows 2000 SP4, Windows XP SP2 and Windows 20003 Server.
On your drive C,
Create a directory called VCTEMP1.
Create another directory on your drive C with the name VCTEMP2.
Copy the file VCBU.ZIP to the VCTEMP1 directory (C:\VCTEMP1).
Unzip the file VCBU.ZIP into the directory C:\VCTEMP2 that you just created so you can install it from this directory.
These two directories are temporary directories and can be deleted after you had a
successful installation.
Run the VCBackupSetup.exe file to begin installation.
On some Systems, a restart is needed for Installation to continue.

Click the Next button to continue the VC Backup installation.

The installation program suggests the default Installation path. You can use it or change to a different path.
Click the Next button to continue the installation.

The installation program is asking where and what Program Group VC Backup should use.
Accept the default by clicking the Next button to carry on with the Installation.

The installation program wants to know if you would like the icon on the desktop or
an icon in your Quick Launch Bar.
Accept the default by clicking the Next button to carry on with the installation.

The Installation Program displays all the details on how the Installation will be done.
If they are correct, click the Install button to start the installation.
If not, click the Back button to go to a previous step and correct it.

VC Backup is
being installed onto your machine.
It will take a minute or so depending on the speed of your machine.

Click on the Finish button to finish the Installation and start the program.
You can click the Finish button to launch VC Backup immediately.
Or you can untick the Launch VC Backup box and launch the program at another time.
Click the Finish button to end the Installation.
