Configuring the Backup Settings: Adding A Backup Set
Clicking on the
Backup Settings - Backup Setup by Number will lead you to the following window:

VC Backup shows you a warning box informing you there are no records in the database.
Click the OK button to start adding records into the database.
To facilitate each record, we call it a Backup Set.

To setup a new Backup Set, follow these instructions:
Program Name: Here you type in the name of the program you want to backup.
It can be any name, but please use a name that you can easily identify e.g. My Docs.
That will show us we are backing up the My Documents directory.
Full Source Path: In this case, we are going to choose what we want to backup e.g. the My Documents directory.
Full Target Path: The default directory is already in.
You can change it by typing or click the Locate button for a new target directory.
Please Note: If you have different target directories for different programs you may get
confused and most probably miss these backups when you copy them to CD.
We suggest one unique directory for all your backups.
Click on the Save Add button to save your Backup Set.
A confirmation box will pop up.

VC Backup is asking if you want to save the Backup Set you created.
Click the Yes button to save the Backup Set or the No button to return to the Backup Setup.

After clicking the Yes button, VC Backup informs you that the Backup Set has been saved to the database.
